WOFF currently offers 3 different scholarships:

• BLiska $1,000

• Alison Barabe Scholarship $500

• WOFF General Scholarship $500

 

Requirements for application:

• All applicants must be child of a commercial fishing family and/or current shoreside support

• Applicants may also work in the the commercial fishing industry and/or current shoreside support if parent does not

• Please acquire and attach a copy of your most recent high school or college transcripts

• Answer the following questions in concise 1-page essay below.

  • How has being in a fishing family impacted you in a positive way?

  • What is the biggest challenge you have faced being in a fishing family?

• Recipient of any scholarship must commit to volunteering 2 hours to a WOFF event.
