In collaboration with local clergy, seafood businesses and industry partners, WOFF brings fishermen and the broader community together for the annual BLESSING OF THE FLEET ceremony & celebration at the iconic homeport of Chatham’s fishing fleet.

Join clergy from St. Christopher's Episcopal and the First Congregational churches of Chatham for the Blessing of the Fleet at the South Jog of the Chatham Fish Pier. Ceremony also includes musical performances by fishing families, a fisherman's reading, in memorium by WOFF, and scholarships awards to high school graduates of local fishing families.

Enjoy Chatham Shellfish's famous raw bar of fresh oysters and littlenecks, fun local seafood snacks from Chatham Harvester's Cooperative, delicious fried seafood at the Pier Fish Market, and sweet treats by Chatham Ice Cream Bars.
Bar opens @ 1pm
Support the WOFF mission by purchasing a glass of wine, NA beverage or crisp local beer from Devil's Purse Brewing.
FAMILY FUN
Celebrate with our local fishermen at the iconic Chatham Fish Pier. Have some family fun with kids ocean-themed crafts and face-painting sponsored by Chatham Creatives Arts Center, interactive fishing gear displays, and lawn games.
